Ken Harris

Prior to joining Marcum Asia and MBP Global, as SPAC practice leader, Ken severed as an SEC Capital Markets partner with CBIZ, formerly both Marcum LLP, and Friedman LLP. Ken has almost 20 years of Public Accounting experience, 14 of which were with PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to joining Friedman LLP.   Ken has served clients ranging from some of the largest and most well-known and respected multi-national corporations to smaller private and private equity owned businesses.  Ken has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including consumer, industrial, manufacturing, technology, entertainment, and healthcare clients.
Ken’s extensive experience assisting public and private businesses, extends beyond the oversight of complex audits to include consulting on issues of, public company business transactions including initial public offerings and De-SPAC’s, business strategy, tax, international reporting and internal controls, among many others.
 
His expertise includes:

·       Conducting and managing complex audit engagements for public and private institutions, and assisting companies understand challenging aspects of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and financial reporting requirements of the SEC.   

·       Evaluating and recommending improvements to internal controls processes and financial procedures involving revenue recognition, business combinations, inventory management, debt and equity transactions, as well as many other areas of financial reporting.

·       Supporting clients exploring or undertaking complex transactions

·       Working with companies through the IPO and De-SPAC process
